Borneo

Borneo diamonds are river diamonds, but are very difficult to reach as they are located in a territory belonging to the Dayak people, also known as "head hunters". Borneo diamonds are generally yellow or brownish but can also be - albeit rarely - pink, blue or green. Rough, these diamonds are covered with a sort of crystalline skin that is probably due to radiation exposure. Once cut and the skin removed, these diamonds can sometimes reveal exceptional colors, for example intense yellow - but more likely than not, their color will be less intense, for example washed-out yellow - sometimes even Cape.

Types of diamonds produced in Borneo: colorless, yellow, brown, pink, blue, green.
