Canada and new production

The Ekati mine, in the Northwest territories, is a striking example of the mines in that region that began production in the past five years. All these mines produce only colorless diamonds - slightly yellow diamonds are an exception. As a result, the proportion of color diamonds in global production continues to diminish, making them even scarcer.
